My adventures with a Raspberry Pi and Arduino programming

Got this soldered and working…

Despite the only soldering iron available being a 4.5V battery powered handled device, and me being a complete numpty at soldering!

Got a cold solder joint on my TX pin, but that was quickly fixed. Now got the blink programme working fine.

Also just checked the voltage between my two soldered GND pins and the single VCC pin, and have just under 3.4V provided. Perfect!

Got my board connected with the FTDI USB programming board.

Settings for Arduino IDE:-

Board: Arduino Pro or Pro Mini (3.3V / 8MHz with Atmega 328)
Serial: /dev/tty.usbserial-AH02LPX9
Programmer: AVR ISP (NOT mk II)

Now to get the UBlox GPS working with the Arduino and software serial!
